Classrooms
Our classroom spaces are designed with purpose and care, creating environments that support focus, collaboration, and wellbeing. Each element—from layout to resources—is thoughtfully chosen to inspire learning, encourage connection, and make students feel safe, comfortable and engaged.
First Nations Educational Spaces
First Nations education spaces honour culture, history, and connection to Country. They provide students with opportunities to learn through storytelling, art, language, and tradition, guided by community knowledge. These spaces foster respect, identity and belonging, while strengthening cultural understanding, reconciliation and pride in shared learning environments.
Hair Salon
Named Apricity—meaning “the warmth of the sun”—our salon overlooks the sparkling views of South Curl Curl Beach. Established in 2019 and staffed by specialist hairdressers, it offers students a unique experience. Services include haircuts, washes, braiding, styling and even tutorials to help kids learn these skills themselves.
Sensory Room
Step into a calming space designed to nurture and engage the senses. Our sensory room provides a tranquil retreat where students can relax, recharge, and explore a variety of sights, sounds and textures. It offers a supportive environment that promotes wellbeing, curiosity and self-regulation.
Playground
Our school is a vibrant space used by students every day over there 12 day stay. They can often be seen playing basketball, handball, and soccer, or enjoying the play equipment. In the coming months, we are excited to add permanent soccer goals. For those who prefer a calmer setting, the hall provides a quiet space to relax unwind play board games colour in.
Arts and Crafts Spaces
Arts and craft rooms provide students with a creative space to explore ideas, develop fine motor skills and express themselves through hands-on projects. Equipped with materials and tools, these rooms encourage imagination, problem-solving and collaboration, while fostering confidence and a love of creativity in a supportive learning environment.
